AkwaCross Uk Manchester group was established in 2015 and is directed by a board that sets policies and projects for the organization. The Manchester group is the Headquarter for The Akwa Ibom - Cross River Association in The United Kingdom. The organisation is self-supported through funding from individuals and members of the association.

The Manchester group covers all the cities in the North West region of England, which consists of the five counties of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside. It also cover members from Leeds.
